Cutting Trees and Debris Removal
Help Seekers can call 211 to report needs for tree and debris removal.
Crisis Cleanup - For residents who need assistance with debris cleanup, register at crisiscleaup.org or call 1-800-451-1954,  Crisis Cleanup will be provided through Friday, May 17, 2019.
Lincoln parish landfill is open. Residents can bring debris free of charge. Contractors will have to pay. Hours are 8 am to 5 pm. Located at 463 Arkansas Plant Road. Dubach, LA
Junior Auxiliary of Ruston has school supplies and uniforms to donate to families affected by the tornado. Individuals in need should email child's uniform size, uniform colors, and the school supplies that are needed to vp@jaofruston.

Wifi and Charging Stations
Mobile and static connectivity zones have been established in impacted areas where residents can access free WiFi and utilize charging stations for their mobile devices. A Static Connectivity Zone has been established at the Suddenlink retail store in Ruston (1001 Cooktown Rd.)

For those businesses needing to relocate due to the storm, please file an application with the City of Ruston's Permits and Inspections Department detailing your relocation, including change of occupancy. An inspector will be out within the day and will help to expedite the process to ensure you can relocate in a timely manner. A plan review site has been set up by the State Fire Marshall at 701 E. Tennessee to help expedite the process of those needing approval from them. Due to the special circumstances, there will be no fee for these permits.
