Active in this community he has always called home, Rick currently serves as the Senior Vice President – Commercial Relationship Manager at Origin Bank.

Rick is passionate about helping people and improving community, which is the mission of United Way of Northeast Louisiana. He serves as Campaign Chair-Elect for United Way of Northeast Louisiana and has served on its Board of Directors since 2021.

In addition to his volunteer role at United Way NELA, Rick serves on numerous community Boards – The Wellspring Alliance (Board Member/Past Chairman, 2013 - 2020), Glenwood Regional Medical Center (Current Chairman/Board Member, 2017 - Present), West Monroe Civitan Club (West Monroe Member/Past Chairman – 2016, 2012 - Present), Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Louisiana (West Monroe Current Vice President/Board Member, 2017 - Present), Big Whit 77 Foundation (West Monroe Current President/Board Member 2009 - Present), West Monroe Rebel Club (West Monroe Current President 2016 - Present), West Monroe High School Foundation (West Monroe Board Member/Past President – 2016, 2014 - 2021), Louisiana Tech Alumni Association (Ruston Board Member, 2018 - Present), Ouachita Council on Aging (Board Member/Past Treasurer, 2018), West Monroe Football Radio (West Monroe Show Host/play-by-play announcer, 2017 - Present), Med Camps (West Monroe Treasurer/Vice Chair, 2020 - Present), Hospital Service District No 2 (West Monroe Commissioner, 2022 - Present).

Rick was a recipient of the 2020 A.O. Evans Award from the WMWO Chamber, was inducted into the Hall of Distinguished Alumni from West Monroe High School in 2016, and was named among the 2015 NELA Top 20 Under 40 by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce. Rick and his wife, Heather, have two boys and love calling West Monroe "home." They are active members and volunteers at First Baptist Church of West Monroe, where Rick served as a Deacon from 2017-2020.
