Stephanie Thompson serves as the Grants and Compliance Manager at United Way of Northeast Louisiana and is a member of the Finance Department.
Since joining United Way in 2016, she has served in several roles supporting community engagement, community investment, and organizational effectiveness. Today, she leads the organization's grant writing efforts and oversees grant administration, compliance, and reporting to ensure funding is managed with integrity, accountability, and measurable impact. She also directs United Way NELA's volunteer-driven Community Partner Program Investment process, administers the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and works across departments to strengthen data management, partner agency stewardship, and organizational progress.
Before joining United Way, she spent over a decade in product and marketing leadership at Emerson Process Management. She brings a strong systems mindset and a passion for aligning people, data, and resources to create lasting community change.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Spanish Language from Rhodes College. She lives in Ruston with her husband and two daughters.
