Shalaressia Jones is the Education and Social Impact Associate at United Way of Northeast Louisiana.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Shalaressia served ten years, including a one-year deployment to Baghdad, Iraq. She brings a strong commitment to service and community empowerment to her role, along with a background in childcare and youth development.
Shalaressia has worked extensively with at-risk youth through the Louisiana National Guard Youth Challenge Program and holds a Director’s License in Childcare. She earned her undergraduate degree in General Studies and her Master’s in Human Services Counseling with honors from Liberty University.
Shalaressia is a dedicated wife, mother, and active church volunteer. She thrives in roles that allow her to uplift, support, and make a difference in the lives of others.
