What is the Nonprofit Capacity Building Training Program?
A new initiative aimed at strengthening the nonprofit sector across our 12-parish region. Our Nonprofit Capacity Building Training Program is a specialized, pilot program designed to enhance the skills, resources, and capabilities of local nonprofits, and directly addresses our goal of fostering collaboration among people and organizations to build a stronger, more inclusive community.
This program is tailored to meet the varying needs of nonprofits at different stages of growth. The program will offer monthly sessions led by expert instructors focusing on essential areas such as compliance, public affairs, budgeting, fund development, Human Resources, and board recruitment.
With a mix of in-person and potential online sessions, we’re committed to providing continuous support and opportunities for growth throughout the year. United Way is dedicated to helping local nonprofits become more resilient, sustainable, and effective.
